Old RV vs new RV,

Our old '91 was 31 feet this new one is 32 feet with a full basement, it's taller and wider. makes a hugh difference with inside storage. We have empty cabinets and drawers. It took us two days to transfer everything over to new rig. AND becasue it was raining on these days we just through the stuff into the basement, then another day to take everything out and rearrange the basement once we got back to our bluff.
Old RV and the new RV

Shop for a new RV,

You know how sometimes you go window shopping and you buy the whole window?! Well Michael and I went window shopping and ended up buy the whole thing. We upgraded to a 2000 Bounder w/lots of extras the previous owner had added. Cable system for TV, air shocks, dual A/c that can be run at the same time, convection mirco, electric and gas hot water system, osmos water system, awnings on all windows, dual truck horns, back up camera, dvd, vcr, larger tv's, new tires, plus what comes on newer rigs.

Outside we have,

an awning for shade. We carry in the basement a ladder, tools, lawn chiars, tv trays, sporting equipment, a 7 ft table, dog fencing, three rv carpets, lots of other stuff we thought we need for this journey, lots of stuff we can't figure out why we bought it. OH and there is all that stuff we wished we brought. We read a lot, watch all the current TV shows (survivors), I've done some crafts, visit w/other RV'ers, when close to towns like Yuma do a lot of shopping, sightsee, go to Mexico a lot (from this spot). Hope this answers how we live or maybe this was too much.

Frequent Updates,

each week Jacqueline sends me updates and pictures of her RV adventure as she is still out there traveling about the country in her RV. Jacqueline has her own website now ... Jacqueline's MySpace Page of Travels with new pics and stories.

To use computer as much as I do,

I run it off is own battery until discharged then either I can run the generator to charge it and use it at the same time or use house batteries to charge and use it at the same time or use coach battery to charge it or I use the car battery to charge it. To do this I have an invertor that plugs into the cigarette lighter plug. We have had to come up with different ways to use electric items other then just plug them into a 120 outlet.
